The Republican Party of Pennsylvania will gather in Harrisburg this weekend for its Fall meeting, its first full meeting under new Chairman Val DiGiorgio. The PA GOP will meet at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.
The PA GOP’s Fall dinner will feature speeches from DiGiorgio, and the seven judicial candidates running this year. After the dinner, state Senator John Rafferty will be hosting a reception honoring the Judicial candidates. Rafferty ran for Attorney General last year, but has not made any announcements about his plans for the future. Gubernatorial candidate Paul Mango will also be hosting a reception honoring DiGiorgio and Vice-Chair Bernadette Comfort.
Ahead of the general meeting, the state party will have to settle the ongoing disagreement within the Philadelphia GOP over whether vice-Chair Mike Cibik or George Gunning IV is the correct member of the State Committee.
PoliticsPA will be there for the whole event, follow our Twitter account, and our Managing Editor’s Twitter account for live updates during the event.
