Second-year Gov. Tom Wolf’s numbers are starting to take the impact of a year-long budget battle, a new Franklin & Marshall poll shows.
Wolf’s approval rating hit a new low, with just 31% of registered voters saying he has done an “excellent” or “good” job in his first thirteen months, the poll shows – down from 36% in October.
Wolf is even struggling to win over his own party, according to the poll. Just 45% of Democrats approve of Wolf’s job performance, down 12 points since October.
Not surprisingly, only 12% of Republicans and 35% of moderates approve of the businessman-turned-governor.
The Governor’s strongest demographic in the poll is “nonwhites” – 47% said the governor is doing an “excellent” or “good” job.
Protestants and Catholics are not very fond of Wolf – with 26% and 27% approval rates, respectively – though 45% of those who have other religious affiliations or none at all approved of the governor’s early work in the office.
Geographically, Wolf’s strongest support came from Philadelphia and the Southeast – 46% and 38%, respectively – as well as the Allegheny area – 41%.
This poll was conducted by the Center for Opinion Research at Franklin & Marshall College. They surveyed 985 registered Pennsylvania voters from February 13th to February 21st. The margin of error is +/- 3.1%.

Gery = Pathetic, TEA-guzzling FOXtard.
Pa would be great if they would have left the real in office. Corbett
This of course is another bad sign for his two “major” endorsements of Katie McGinty and Josh shapiro.
Buddy
I think you are right on Both he is a fool and his wolfpack are true fools.. Disgrace for the Democrat Party. Until Wolf leaves the party is a joke as well.
Cheers Gov
I had such good hopes for this guy but he is either a fool himself or surrounded himself by fools. Either way, this is a pathetic place to be.
