PA-Gov: Wolf Endorses Dougherty for Supreme Court

Dougherty Wolf MailerPennsylvania Supreme Court candidate Kevin Dougherty is publicly using an endorsement from Governor Tom Wolf.

The campaign is printing mailers with a photo of the two men together and a testimonial from the Gov.

“In Pennsylvania we have a real choice to make and we need to make sure Kevin Dougherty gets elected,” is the Wolf quote used.

The latest Quinnipiac Poll revealed that Wolf’s approval rating in Pennsylvania is at 41%, making this a potentially risky move for the Dougherty campaign.

Dougherty currently serves as the Administrative Judge of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Trial division, where he “oversees all aspects of Pennsylvania’s largest civil and criminal trial court system,” according to his campaign website.

The Democratic nominee is seeking one of three open seats on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

  1. My guess is Olson and Wecht for sure. The other candidates are poor, in my opinion. Dougherty is bought and paid for, Donahue is just not very smart, George is weak as can be, and Covery……well, who the heck is she? Ha ha.

  2. LEE has to be a “close associate” of disaster Donohue, but probably needs to spell her name Leigh. No honest person could so glowingly describe the cesspool of Donohue on Superior Court.

  3. gulagPittsburgh is either McCaffery or one of his close associates. Judge Donohue has an outstanding record as a State Superior Court Justice with impeccable ethics. Judge Donohue will be a great State Supreme Court Justice.

  4. Wecht Donahue Olson. I bet he refused to endorse any of the candidates but Johnny Doc couldn’t stand it and made this mailer now releases out of desperation daring the Governor to contradict. Which he won’t because now he’s gonna need 98s money to get that dingbat McGinty elected just to save face.
PS is gulagPitt McCaffery?? Sounds just like him.

  5. Opinions from Donohue read like a menopausal witch with a bad memory or lack of ethics.

  6. Olson seems nice enough, but her opinions read like they were written by a male Tea Bagger. If you want a fair shot at redistricting, you cannot vote for any Republican this year.
