Governor Tom Wolf announced the launch of “2Vote” today.
This new feature will allow anyone that texts “PA” to “2Vote” (28683) to access their voter registration status or an application to register. They can also locate their polling place and find links to county offices and the Department of State.
“Accessing the online registration site, and helpful tools for voters, is now one short text away,” said Governor Wolf.
“The 2vote platform provides potential voters with fast and easy access to the Department’s voter education tools,” Secretary Cortés said. “Staying on trend allows us to reach younger voters and provide information at the speed they have come to expect.”
The deadline to register to vote is October 11th.

Very nice piece of technology, Congrats to the Department of State. All government functions should be this seamless.
@NLL, damn those critical thinking skills!
@ Wally
Your post just goes to show why selfish people like you and the people you vote for have no business running government.
This seems geared toward getting younger voters registered, and having them check their registration status (which gets messed-up sometimes with college vs parents house or moving to first apartment).
Governor Chromedome, more taxpayer dollars down the toilet
Why would someone register for a service to register to vote?
