  1. Thanks for revealing your ideas with this blog. Additionally, a fable regarding the banks intentions any time talking about property foreclosures is that the standard bank will not getreceive my repayments. There is a specific amount of time that the bank will need payments occasionally. If you are also deep within the hole, they’re going to commonly call that you pay the payment fully. However, i am not saying that they will not take any sort of repayments at all. When you and the financial institution can have the ability to work something out, the actual foreclosure method may stop. However, in the event you continue to miss payments in the new plan, the home foreclosure process can pick up from where it left off.

  2. God help the poor people who go in front of judges whose expertise is based on serving as a deputy prothonotary instead of practicing law with real clients and doing trials as a real trial lawyer. of course, most prothonotaries run for office and are therefore movers in the local dem machines — who apparently can get their deputies these plum judicial appointments. ( it’s one small consolation that Mundy’s work product appears to be well done, per one comment above ..)

. but how in the world do prothonotaries qualify to sit as appellate judges? i guess maybe a husband who has influence over spending the trial lawyer’s big dollar pac might have something to do with it…

  3. Mundy selected simply because of her husband, the big trial lawyer; Solana because of his brother; who knows about Hearthway…she is clueless, but clearly knows someone. This is a joke and with the exception of Solano, they will get smashed in the election next year.

  4. Wolf also nominated former Chief Deputy AG/ Labor Secretary Julia K. Hearthway, under Corbett to the Commonwealth Court.
She should be denied for aiding and abetting corruption in both roles.
Hearthway was instrumental in burying criminal complaints against a Scranton Workers’ Comp judge, local royalty as past president of the Friendly Sons, Patrick J. Cummings for trial fixing for his brother’s illicit business partner. (Dunmore Solicitor Tom Cummings Jr, and presently a WC Appeal Board Commissioner, revealed that gem via the Cordaro , June 2011 Lackawanna County pay to play corruption trial.
Worse, Tom Cummings’ testimony revealed his role in setting up and running a shadow company( John Brayfee LLC) to grab a no-bid $257,000 contract to build an overpriced 9-1-1 cell tower for the county, allegedly cutting the imprisoned commissioner in for a $14,000.00 share.
In 2012, as Labor Secretary, despite her oversight of the aforesaid criminal complaint against the WC Judge brother, she approved Tom Cummings appointment by Corbett as a Workers Compensation Appeals Board Commissioner.
The Scranton Times-Tribune has published pics of Corbett on the Dais sitting with Cummings, the crooked judge.
The details can be acquired from Governor Wolf’s office via Right to Know Request for Notice of Claim re Cummings and the Commonwealth.

  5. I totally disagree with Observant’s statement that Judge Sally Mundy may be the worst Judge on Superior Court. As a retired employee of this Court, I have found her court opinions to thoroughly researched, well written and completed in a timely manner. Additionally, during the six years that I dealt with her as Deputy Prothonotary for the Eastern District she always treated me and the members of my staff with the utmost courtesy and respect. Although many members of the Superior Court are also qualified to sit on the PA. Supreme Court, I believe Judge Mundy is an outstanding choice. I was also thrilled to see that Carl Solano has been nominated to serve on the Superior Court. Mr Solano is one of the best appellate lawyers in our state.

  6. appellate court slate is weak. Corbett’s former L&I chief Hearthway on Commonwealth Court means war on workers…Geoff Moulton on Superior Court means a war on common sense…Sally Mundy may be the worst judge on Superior Court…and who the he!! does Joe Cosgrove have pictures of? All this means is these appellate choices are there for a short time and will be knocked out in 2017.

  7. Good choices here tom wolf and I’m hoping of they will be good judges.
