PA-Gov: Wolf Raises 600k in 2014

Wolf
Wolf

Following the year-end report that Tom Wolf filed showing a $10 million contribution to his own campaign, the former Revenue Secretary reported raising just $611,407 in the first quarter.

Though this number is small in comparison to his competitors, he brought forth $11 million from 2013 and even after his extensive media buys and new commercial creative, he has just over $7 million left on hand at the end of the first quarter.

Wolf contributed a paltry few thousand to his campaign in in-kind contributions, but nothing on par with the check he wrote last year.

This fundraising period ended on March 31st.

PoliticsPA will take a deep dive into the contributions and expenditures of each statewide candidate later this week.

  1. @ Frank, Liz McGlee still has 2 million more than Schwartz on hand and has more than 4x her voters in polls. Smart money isn’t anywhere near Schwartz.

  2. Or his rich friends have realized how horrible of a candidate he’d be. There’s no point in giving money to someone who can’t beat Corbett.

  3. Or perhaps those with money and want in the game think he has plenty to get the job done in May and are waiting until the General to ante up.

  4. Looks like tom should spend more time on the phone, and less time in the jeep.Looks like the smart money is still on schwartz.
