PA-Gov: Wolf Releases Equal Pay Ad (VIDEO)

It won’t surprise you to know that Tom Wolf has released another ad, though it may surprise you that his daughters, who have been included in few previous spots, star in this one.

“My father encouraged us to pursue whatever we wanted to pursue and not feel like there’s any barriers to it,” his daughter Sarah Wolf states. “His view is not there’s nothing men can do that women can’t and he always made sure that we were aware of that,” his other daughter Katie continues.

The Democratic front-runner then explains that as the father of two daughters he is especially aware that women are still only paid 77 cents for every dollar a man makes.

“Truth is, when we shortchange anyone in Pennsylvania we all lose out,” Wolf concludes. “We’re gotta do better, there’s really no excuse.”

The Wolf campaign picked the perfect time to release this ad as yesterday was National Equal Pay Day and President Obama signed an executive order seeking to reduce discrimination and to empower workers when it comes to their pay.

Additionally, today the Senate voted on an equal pay bill. On a party-line vote, Republicans blocked it setting up a major issue for Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections.

Other Democratic candidates for Governor include Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz, State Treasurer Rob McCord and former DEP Secretary Katie McGinty.

  1. The truth is, Tom Wolf is the best of the 4 Democratic candidates for Governor and he can beat Tom Corbett. Vote Tom Wolf on May 20th.

  2. I wonder if Wolf pays his female employees at his furniture stores the same as men employees. Probably not.

Wolf mimicking Obama is a fatal blow to his campaign.

  3. The truth is the jury is out on that math if anyone picked up a national newspaper today they’re seeing that. If Tom Wolf is learning his math skills from Barack Obama and frankly I’m a little bit scared
