Let the general election begin.
AFSCME People, the labor group’s PAC, launched a new ad today aimed at Senator Pat Toomey.
“Pat Toomey started his career as an investment banker,” the narrator begins. “Then a Wall Street wheeler-dealer.”
The thirty-second spot then recounts how Toomey oversaw overseas stock trades and accuses him of being part of Wall Street recklessness.
“Pat Toomey, he’s for Wall Street, not us,” the commercial concludes.
AFSCME stated this ad is part of a $1.2 million TV buy in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton markets.
Toomey is running against former Chief of Staff to Governor Wolf Katie McGinty in the general election.

I do agree with all of the ideas you have presented in your post. They’re very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for novices. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.

Lou – I just took one on your wife.
This a totally legitimate use of the money that organized labor takes from workers whether they belong to the union or not.
Toomey has a strong message about McGinty’s ties to the special interest group-energy/fracking industries. He will be well funded and maintain a persistent presence in he media. He is a talented politician with a properly funded campaign. This gives him the edge.
Ah unions…like a good dump…
Hmmm…sounds like the attack the Berners launch on Hillary….
TV ads. Early and often. This is probably just the beginning.
One-Term-Toomey is history if it’s Hillary vs Trump. Wall Street will take him back.
Wonder if this message will work better than it did in 2010… right after the crash.
