Here comes Joe.
Next weekend, former Vice President Joe Biden will join Sen. Bob Casey for a campaign fundraiser.
Biden is a long time semi-regular attendee of Pittsburgh’s Labor Day parade (as well as the Se. Patrick’s Day parade, which once resulted in the most yinzer TV interview of all time).
The Casey campaign promoted the upcoming visit with Biden by launching a fundraiser where donors can win a chance to meet the VP.
“Further announcements will be coming in the following days about the Vice President’s visit,” said Max Steele, Casey campaign spokesman.
In the past two months, GOP challenger to Casey, Rep. Lou Barletta, has welcomed in Vice President Pence and President Donald Trump to Pennsylvania for rallies and fundraising events. During Trump’s rally with Barletta in Wilkes-Barre, the President dubbed Casey “Sleeping Bob.”
Fundraising has not been an issue for Casey at this point as he finished the 2nd quarter with $9.8 million cash on hand. Barletta finished the filing period from late April to the end of June with $1.56 million cash on hand.
“Bob Casey campaigning with former Obama Administration officials who increased taxes, made health care more expensive, and the world more dangerous is not something we are concerned about,” said David Jackson, Barletta campaign spokesman. “We’re focused on success for the future, not the failures of the past.”

Lou is kicking himself in the butt for giving up a safe house seat because Trump promised him a gig in the US senate.
I love me some Joe Biden!
everybody in the country has met Joe, maybe you can meet Bobby, nobody ever sees him.
I could not count how many times I have met or seen Sen. Casey at an event. Maybe you are thinking of Sen. Toomey? I can’t remember the last time he held a public town hall.
Lol you can’t count bruh??
What exactly is a “bruh” and how many of them should one be able to count?
Or perhaps you can use a vocative comma like a big boy if you are trying to indicate that you are addressing someone, Bobby.
