Katie McGinty is personally refuting Pat Toomey’s latest attack, and launching her own, in her latest TV ad.
It begins with McGinty recounting meeting her police officer father whenever he came home.
“I remember my dad coming home from walking the beat. I’d run and hug him. A great dad, a good man,” she starts.
The thirty-second spot, titled “Coming Home”, then transitions from a reenactment to McGinty talking straight to camera.
“I know Pat Toomey’s having fun attacking my integrity – let’s talk integrity,” she continues. “Wall Street banks shouldn’t be allowed to prey on working families. And your taxes shouldn’t pay to ship our jobs to China.”
“Pat Toomey won’t change that, I will,” McGinty pledges. “I grew up a working class kid, and I’ll work for you.”

Kathy Kane would be better than LOSER Toomey.
Too close to call. We Dems could have had Sestak and won, although that would have been close as well. I had called Sestak by 2. I wouldn’t try to call this one.
We deserve what we get for allowing a system that lets non-constituent and for-profit cash to finance our “public servants” elections.
Kathy Kane is a great american and deserving of a write in vote for ag. When she gets out of jail she can return to office.

I’m writing in Kathleen Kane for AG, because she has the most integrity of anyone whose held the office or currently running for it.
As for Katie, we really can’t let Toomey have another 6 years. Toomey refuses to do his job and agree to hearings on Obama’s well-qualified supreme court nominee. He’s happy to defund Plan Parenthood and all the good work they do, because he doesn’t agree with small percentage of work they do supporting women’s legal right to an abortion.
We are better with no Senator than Toomey. A monkey flipping a coin to decide every vote would be better than Toomey (ie right 50% of the time instead of 0%).
1) Katie easily meets this standard.
2) We need Katie to usher in a Dem majority (or 50-50 with Kaine as tie-breaker). Without Katie, the GOP could retain control of the Senate. That is unacceptable.
So, please, hold your nose and vote for Katie, if that’s what it takes.
Toomey has run a good campaign in a tough political environment. Toomey by 3%.
Neither Katie nor Josh Shapiro need your vote, W.
They will both win going away. Primarily b/c they are running against GARBAGE candidates/GARBAGE people.
I refuse to vote for McGinty and Shapiro. They’re both just full of shit
Katy McGinty is NOT supportive of law enforcement. The fact she is using her father to portray this is unconscionable. Law enforcement knows this and is NOT supporting her.
