PAC Predicts Victory for Endorsed Tri-State Area Tea Party Candidates Says Conservatives Will Pick Up At Least 6 US House Seats in Region

(November 2, 2010) — The Independence Hall Tea Party PAC,

the only federally registered Tea Party PAC in the tri-state (DE, NJ, PA) area, is predicting that many of its endorsed candidates will be victorious in today’s general election.

“It’s the ultimate Tea Party and conservative candidates will take control of the US House and, possibly, the US Senate,” said PAC President, Don Adams.

“We endorsed 13 terrific regional Congressional candidates in the primary and two additional candidates in the general election, and feel more than confident that a majority of them will win,” Adams said.  “In the primary, we won 10 out of 12 contested races.  We think we’ll do almost as well in the General election.

“In Pennsylvania, Pat Toomey will be victorious.  In the critical the 7th and 8th Congressional Districts, it looks as though Republicans Pat Meehan and Mike Fitzpatrick, respectively, will prevail.

“In the 11th District, it appears Lou Barletta will defeat Paul Kanjorski.  We should  win no less than 5 Congressional seats statewide.

“All three of our endorsed incumbents, Jim Gerlach (PA-6), Charlie Dent (PA-15), and Joe Pitts (PA-16), will keep their seats.

“In New Jersey, Jon Runyan (NJ-3), thanks in part to “fake” Tea Party candidate, Peter DeStefano (a concoction of the John Adler Campaign), is headed to Washington, and may be joined by Anna Little (NJ-6) and Scott Sipprelle (NJ-12).

“We are cautiously optimistic for come from behind wins in Delaware,” said Adams.  “We believe that our endorsed statewide candidates, Christine O’Donnell and Glenn Urquhart, who are both trailing by single digits, can pull off upset victories.

“Regardless of the Delaware outcome, our PAC’s most important goal will be realized this Tuesday night–we will “take back Congress” and fire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House,” he said. “Victories in tri-state area will be a major factor in that development.”

“We also think Sharron Angle, and the voters of Nevada, will deliver a gigantic pink slip to Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, in what we see as the ultimate national Tea Party this Tuesday.”
