Pawlowski Names Campaign Staff

Ed Pawlowski headshotAllentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski named the key members of his campaign team Thursday, a few days after he declared his bid for governor.

“Without a strong team behind me, it would be impossible to run an effective campaign,” Pawlowski said. “I could not be any more confident with the campaign staff we have assembled, and we already have hit the ground running from day one. They are the best in the business, and together we will work our hardest to win.”

Longtime Pawlowski adviser Mike Fleck will run the effort with his wife Alison Fleck via their Allentown-based firm Fleck Consulting.

The Finance Consultant and Finance Director will be Chad Proudlock and Will Serio respectively of the DC-based Solvency Group. They worked with Jonathan Saidel’s brief congressional campaign in PA-13 earlier this year.

Dane Strother, of DC-based Strother Strategies, will be the media consultant. The firm lists a wide range of past clients including Al Gore and several Governors, although none of their listed clients were elected in Pennsylvania.

Christie Gross of My Campaign Group in DC will be the campaign’s Policy Advisor. She worked for the campaign of U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) among others.

Finally, Joe McDermott of McDermott Communications will serve as Communications Director. He spent 13 years reporting for the Allentown Morning Call and 6 at the Bucks County Intelligencer and later worked as spokesman for the city of Allentown.

Since announcing his candidacy to run, Pawlowski has traveled the state on a nine day bus tour with stops in 23 counties.

  1. Former Lower Merion Township Constable Eric Bradway Is Running for Governor on the Democratic Ticket Bradway can easily win the Primary and then the General Election

  2. I expect cronies like Fleck are involved in his mayoral campaign as well. Was Fleck the crony behind the attempted scam in the Allentown council race to trick a candidate into dropping out, and it had to go to court?
