Pennsylvania Building and Trades Council Endorses Mundy

mundy_sallieThe Pennsylvania Building and Trades Council unanimously endorsed Supreme Court Justice Sallie Mundy.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of the hard working men and women of the State Building and Trades Council,” Sallie Mundy said in a press release.

The Building and Trades Council consists of 16 regional councils, and over 98 local unions.

“During her time on both the Superior Court and Supreme Court, Sallie Mundy has displayed a proven track record as a fair and impartial justice,”  said President of the Pennsylvania State Building and Construction Trades Council Frank A. Sirianni in a press release.

“Sallie is uniquely qualified to serve as Supreme Court Justice and we can trust she will serve with integrity and as a fair justice for all.”

The Building and Trade Council joins Pennsylvania State Troopers Association and the Allentown Professional Firefighters Local 302 in endorsing Mundy.

Mundy was elected to the Superior Court in 2009 after 22 years as an attorney. Governor Tom Wolf nominated Mundy to fill a vacant spot on the Supreme Court last year.  She was unanimously confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate.

  1. Union joining cops to endorse a GOP judge. How the world has changed. Reminds me of Jimmy Hoffa days when Teamsters backed
Nixon. Crooks and GOP go together.

    1. Yea. You just can’t open a paper these days without seeing elected Republicans getting arrested for this and that. Oh. Wait a tick. You are delusional.

  2. Sad to say…bribes and threats don’t work anymore, especially with our union guys in front of a grand jury. Looks like our Familia will have to hedge it’s bet, even though the godfather hates women now that he can’t get it up anymore
