The Pennsylvania Department of State certified the results of the 2020 presidential election on Tuesday, officially confirming Joe Biden’s victory in the commonwealth.
Biden received 3,458,229 votes, while President Donald Trump received 3,377,674 votes in the state, and Libertarian Party candidate Jo Jorgensen received 79,380 votes, according to the press release from the Department of State.
Gov. Tom Wolf sent out a tweet on Tuesday morning to announce that he signed the “Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors” for Biden.
“Today @PAStateDept certified the results of the November 3 election in Pennsylvania for president and vice president of the United States,” Wolf tweeted. “As required by federal law, I’ve signed the Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

Wolf sent a follow-up tweet thanking the officials who participated in administering the election.
Again, I want to thank the election officials who have administered a fair and free election during an incredibly challenging time in our commonwealth and country’s history,” Wolf tweeted. “Our election workers have been under constant attack and they have performed admirably and honorably.”

While the results in Pennsylvania have been certified, Trump’s campaign has yet to concede in the state. On Saturday, a federal court dismissed the Trump campaign’s lawsuit challenging the results in the state, which was followed by Sen. Pat Toomey (R) congratulating Biden and Harris on their victory.
The AP called the race for Biden on Nov. 7 at 11:25 A.M.

With the media covering up Biden’s ineptitude, attacking Trump for 4 years, impeachment, Russia and washed up celebrities dissing Trump, he came close and had coattails in Pa.
Philly ward leaders may have been the difference.
Unless Covid continues raging thru the Trumpster cult and kills half of them, PA will not return to political sanity anytime soon.
Thank you to ALL the poll workers and those that did all the work in every County and voting district. You did a GREAT job.
This is very disturbing about PA certifying the votes already! I am so distressed, I had to turn on my favorite program, “Fox & Friends”. They don’t tell me what I “need” to hear, they tell me what I “want” to hear.
I love Hannity, Carlson, and Ingraham but especially Judge Jeanine; especially when she has one of her alcohol fueled rants! It’s so patriotic.
Biden took a Hillary defeat in 2016 and turned it into a Biden win in 2020! Pa will not support a Progressive for Gov in 2022! Shapiro is Dems best choice in 2022 for Gov.V
What does Shapiro bring to the table? He is arrogant, thinks he is better than other Democrats. Won’t go to Democratic functions and if he does, he says a few words and leaves. That is not Governor material. There are better Democrats out there that believe in Democrats and aren’t too proud to be associated with them.
