In the GOP primary for Attorney General, State Sen. John Rafferty has generally won the endorsements of party officials.
Yesterday, however, prosecutor Joe Peters won the support of York County Commissioner Chris Reilly.
“Joe Peters is the best qualified candidate in either party to restore trust and accountability in the Office of Attorney General,” said Commissioner Reilly. “As the son of a D.C. Police Officer I have a special kinship with Joe, given his background as a cop and career prosecutor. As Joe’s new website points out and his career attests to, he is fearless, independent and untouchable. I invite my fellow York County Republicans to check out Joe’s background. ‘I’m confident they will also see the he is the most qualified GOP candidate for Attorney General, and best able to carry the Republican banner in the fall.”
“In traveling across the state it’s clear that Republicans prefer a career prosecutor like me for Attorney General rather than a career politician like my opponent. I am thankful for my friend Chris Reilly’s support and friendship,” Peters stated. “I will continue to campaign vigorously in York County.”
The primary is scheduled for April 26th.

Even I dislike Rafferty. I’d vote for Shapiro over him.

They missed the fact that prosecuting Kane for one alleged leak and ignoring the fact that Fina & The Corbett Pervs criminally leaked tons of material is called selective enforcement.
