SEE ALSO: Rendell on Sestak: ‘He’ll still get killed’

As promised, we’re back with our exclusive chat with Gov. Ed Rendell. As is often the case, Pennsylvania’s chief executive was in a chatty mood, sounding off on everything from the state budget, the U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races and whether he ever intends to Tweet (the answer to that one was a big “No.”).

A few highlights: As we mentioned earlier, Rendell pretty much dropped a house on Joe Sestak’s U.S. Senate aspirations, saying he does not believe the Delaware County congressman can catch Arlen Specter in the polls.

He also believes Republican Tom Corbett has put himself in an “untenable” position by signing a pledge to not raise taxes if he’s elected governor. The Guv suggested Corbett might have been trying outmaneuver his primary opponent, state Rep. Sam Rohrer.
