PoliticsPA’s Morning Buzz: 10/29 Edition

Pat Toomey has a couple of potential 2012 Presidential candidates on the trail with him today, Rep. Tim Murphy has gotten a lot of press in the last 24 hours about the Pledge of Allegiance fiasco at his debate and Gov. Rendell and Mayor Bloomberg are providing some last minute help to Dan Onorato and Joe Sestak. Good Friday morning and welcome to the Buzz, look for Up & Down this afternoon and election updates throughout the weekend.

On the trail

Tom Corbett will be in York meeting voters.

Dan Onorato will spend most of the day in Philadelphia (including an endorsement by the Black Clergy) but he will end the day in Reading.

First, Joe Sestak will do an event with Sen. Casey in Dunmore. In the afternoon, Sestak will receive the endorsement of the Black Clergy in Philadelphia. Then, he will head to Elkins Park, Warminster and Chester.

Pat Toomey is having a rally with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour in Reading. Then the four of them will head to Lititz for a rally. Toomey will then have a rally in Altoona before he joins Lt. Gov candidate Jim Cawley, Tim Burns (GOP candidate in 12th district) and Keith Rothfus (GOP candidate in the 4th district) in Murrysville for a rally.

Gov. Rendell will be campaigning for Democrats in Philadelphia in the morning.

Manan Trivedi will be campaigning with Gov. Rendell in Phoenixville, East Norriton, and Coatesville in the afternoon.

Rep. Patrick Murphy will be campaigning with the Governor in Levittown to end the day.
