PA GOP – Scott Fairchild is going to run Rahm Emanuel’s campaign for mayor of Chicago because Rahm felt he was the person most qualified to do the job, not because he is jumping off the Murphy ship.
Rep. Dahlkemper – First, you get hit with some bad news in the latest poll and then you ask the Erie radio stations to take an abortion ad off the air. Your opponent has taken you off message and you can’t get your proposals into the media. It was a rough week for the Dahlkemper camp.
Tom Corbett – So far, your no-tax pledge has held up to scrutiny, that is until your first debate when you said you could keep your pledge and increase employee contributions to the unemployment compensation fund. Problem is the people who came up with the pledge say that unless you decrease taxes elsewhere, they would consider that a tax increase.
PA Democratic Party – You should get a big boost this weekend when the President and Vice-President coming to Philadelphia, it will be one of the bigger rallies of the fall campaign in the nation, and The Roots performing should help the crowds swell. On top of that, the star of “Glee” will be in Pittsburgh campaigning for Dan Onorato.
State Rep. Kotik – Why are you announcing you’re running for speaker now? Yes, the speaker’s chair will be vacant with state Rep. McCall not running for re-election but doesn’t it seem a little early? Let’s at least get through Nov. 2nd.
