With a Supreme Court decision expected by Thursday, our reader poll results are more relevant than ever. With 473 people participating, the consensus is that the court will strike down Obamacare’s individual mandate, but not the entire law.
A plurality of 225 readers polled said the individual mandate, requiring that every American obtain health insurance, would be struck from Obamacare.
A smaller portion of 147 people (or 31 percent) said that not just the individual mandate – but the entire law — will be struck down. Bringing up the rear, only 21 percent of people (with 101 votes) believe that Obamacare will be upheld entirely, leaving the bill as is.
