Radio Host Enters Race to Challenge Brady

Radio Host Michele Lawrence announced she is entering the race to challenge Congressman Bob Brady (D-Philadelphia).

“I am running as a public servant for the people,” Lawrence said in a statement according to the Delco Times.

“People become empowered through their votes and by holding their elected leaders accountable. If you don’t like your current leadership, vote for somebody new. Let’s dispel the myth that your vote doesn’t count.”

Lawrence hosts an AM radio program “Michele Speaks” and runs MicheleSpeaks, a firm that “helps people realize their worth, build wealth, embrace wellness and accrue wisdom by providing empowerment tools and events, educational opportunities and strategic planning services” according to the campaign.

Lawrence joins former Philadelphia Deputy Mayor Nina Ahmad in challenging Brady.

Brady is currently involved in an FBI investigation into his campaign allegedly paying former primary opponent Jimmie Moore to end his primary challenge.

  1. Both women seem like much better options but I just hope the anti-Brady vote isn’t broken up to allow him to sneak through the primary.

    1. You gotta think Brady or his allies are secretly backing one of them or a future candidate. The more people in the race the better for him
