Governor Tom Corbett went 3 for 3 for the sweep when it came to the debates.
At least that’s what our readers think.
The third debate was the longest of the season and also saw Wolf put up his best performance, according to our voters.
Wolf received 40% of the vote, which while less than stellar is still the most he has gotten in any of our polls.
846 respondents felt that Governor Corbett won the campaign’s final debate.
Meanwhile, 569 readers said that Wolf prevailed.

Mr. Wolf won the third debate on his populist stance; i.e. in touch with what a majority of Pennsylvanians want.
1) Taxing the Marcellus – which is $1 billion/year over the next 10-20 years, not a one-time shot of a billion dollars. That $ would go a long way to re-funding our schools, and funding the DEP – there were over 6,800 driller violations over the last 5 years.
2) Raising the minimum wage – you can’t go to a trade school as Mr. Corbett suggests if you are working two minimum wage jobs
3) Decriminalizing possession of micro amounts of marijuana while legalizing medical.
4) Exposing voter ID for the disenfranchisement tactic that it is.
5) Explaining that his tax plan would hit only households making more than $180,000/year, and only if a constitutional amendment can be enacted. Minimum time required is four years.
6) Saying he would always redirect spending priorities, as opposed to spending more money.
7) Taking the Affordable Care Act billions, without radically scaling aback coverage plans, alienating insurers, and setting up a whole new bureaucracy in Harrisburg – as Corbett’s “Healthy” Pa is doing.
