Reader Poll: Eagen Will Get the Most Votes in the Democratic Commonwealth Court Primary

seal_commonwealth - 001469The readers have spoken, and a slight majority of our readers believe that Todd Eagen will get the most votes in the Democratic Commonwealth Court primary.  

Eagen received 50% of the 996 votes cast in our poll.  Judge Joseph Cosgrove had 29%, Judge Ellen Ceisler had 12%, State Rep. Bryan E. Barbin had 4%, Irene McLaughlin Clark had 3%, and Timothy Barry had 1%.

  1. Yes, but he had a “wide stance”, so he was a family-values Republican and not a credible source.

  3. A majority of votes = 50% + 1… I believe the word you are looking for is “plurality.”

  4. “Slight majority”? Eagen received 50% of the overall votes. The next top vote getter received 29%. Eagen received more votes than the other 5 candidates combined. That is far more than a “slight majority”.
