With Thanksgiving last week, we thought it would be appropriate to ask our readers which political figure they felt should be most thankful.
Attorney General Kathleen Kane, who has been able to make a big name for herself in her first year in office, won the poll with 80 votes.
Governor Tom Corbett, despite some tough defeats this year, finished in second place with 55 respondents. Perhaps his victory on the transportation bill has convinced supporters that the Governor is back on the upswing.
In third place was Senator Pat Toomey with 36 votes. Senator Bob Casey and Auditor General Eugene DePasquale came in a rare tie with 33 readers each choosing them.
Finally, State Treasurer and gubernatorial candidate Rob McCord came in last with only 20 people believing he should be the most thankful this Thanksgiving, despite the big splash he’s made in the pool of Democratic candidates for governor.
Which statewide official should be most thankful this Thanksgiving? Total Voters: 257

Corbett should be thankful Kane hasn’t put him in jail due to his criminal negligence in not prosecuting Sandusky until after Corbett’s election.
Kane should be thankful that she is not in jail.
I think Corbett should be most thankful for the fact that he’s not on the ballot for another two years.
