Despite the outrage over such a shallow poll, “Who is the most attractive man running for governor” garnered more responses than any other poll this year, and the answer was decisive.
State Treasurer Rob McCord ran away with the contest, winning 127 votes.
The incumbent Governor Tom Corbett came in second, with 79 votes.
Third place was Tom Wolf, with 62 votes.
After Wolf, the drop off in looks is apparently significant.
Max Myers earned 34, Bob Guzzardi took 28, John Hanger took 25 and former gov candidate Pawlowski took 19.

Sounds like he got the poll results in advance and decided to pack it in.
Also I love that, between the time this poll was launched and the time it finished, Pawlowski dropped out of the race.
While the question is inherently shallow, I thought it was a funny twist on a question that usually gets asked only of female politicians.
I voted for Wolf, but mostly because there was no “none of the above” option.
So the moral is that the candidates should spend their millions on make-overs?
