Reader Poll: Obama Ads Most Influential, Casey Ads Among Least

The full swing of ad season is almost upon us, but we wanted to feel you out first, politicos.

We asked you which campaign ads you found most compelling so far – and the results were not ambiguous.

With 40 percent of the vote, 214 of you said that Obama campaign ads, or pro-Obama PAC ads, influenced you the most.

Coming in at a distant second was Tom Smith advertisements, with 139 votes. Romney and pro-Romney ads in a close third with one fewer vote than Smith. Each took 26 percent of the vote.

PoliticsPA readers downvoted both Bob Casey (24 votes) and state House and Senate ads (20 votes). They each earned 4 percent of the vote, with 535 total poll votes.

  1. Less lawyers.Yes I agree. Attorney Keith Routhfus (heard he is a millionare too) is wrong for Congress.

  2. I agree, we, as a country, are in dire need of Mr Smith. The same can be said of Casey as of Obama. Enough words. We need far fewer lawyers in this government because all they know how to do is write more law. We need people capable of reading financials and understanding what those numbers mean. We need people who know that a minus at the end is bad and needs to be changed.” No need to bring a budget bill to the floor “, says Reid? All of those responsible in the Senate for helping him avoid his primary responsibility as a member of Congress (in this case, all Senate Democrats) need to go. Enough.
