    Has Fina resigned yet?

It only gets worse for Fina:

From WHYY – According to the Philadelphia Daily News, the best-known prosecutor implicated in the scandal so far told a roomful of people in 2009 that the financial and political abuses of the “bonusgate” scandal in the state Legislature had at least bought taxpayers “a great set of tits.”

According to the story, former State House Speaker Bill DeWeese attributed those comments to prosecutor Frank Fina, when he’d asked DeWeese if he knew that an illegal bonus to a government employee had been used for breast enhancement surgery.

There’s more, which you can read here.

Fina, you may recall, was already associated with offensive email and required to attend sensitivity training by his current employer, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams. Fina didn’t respond to Ruderman for her story and hasn’t returned my messages either.

But this is going to be hard to ignore.

When Mayor-elect Jim Kenney was asked about Fina he said: “I think it’s increasingly difficult for those individuals [Fina. Costanzo, and Blessington], based on the information that is out there, to do anything productive when it comes to prosecuting people or representing [victims].”

Lot’s of “No Comments” from Seth Williams and Frank Fina.

Wait/what — he is soon going to be closer to the slammer than to a prosecutorial position.

If he can send others to jail for mis-using their State computers while at the same time doing it himself …. What does that say about him? What kind of man is he? Well – we know he is the type of man that sees the following and thinks it is soooooo funny that he just has to send it to his white male buddies:

    Despicable.

  4. Wait, what ? says:

This is what I have been saying for months. Terry M wouldn’t accept my explanation but the hypocrisy is clear. You can’t threaten and prosecute people for misuse of government resources while you are doing it yourself. Today’s article makes clear that Fina is simply a bully with a badge and questionable judgment. I don’t know his heart and can’t say he’s a racist or woman hater but he should be nowhere near any prosecutorial position. Same with Costanzo

And now there is the following, from today’s paper. DA Williams is going to have to act fast – before this gets even worse for him. Fina is BAD NEWS.

“Fina was saying that we were exchanging political emails on state time and that it was illegal,” said Melissa Frameli. “It’s pretty sick that they were doing the same thing that they were screaming at us for – and our emails were related to political work, they weren’t degrading toward women or towards men, they weren’t pornographic in nature.”
Frameli recalled that Fina was fixated on her personal relationship with DeWeese’s chief of staff, Michael Manzo, and whether she had spent her bonus money on a “boob job.” He accused her of “whoring around,” unleashing a string of profanity and “F-bombs,” she said. …

“He was completely putting me down and saying I was going to get in trouble for sleeping with my boss. Screaming at me, and saying that I used my bonus to get a boob job and that I was a disgrace, basically . . . I felt very degraded by him. I felt very degraded as a woman.”

Fina, now a city prosecutor for District Attorney Seth Williams, declined to comment yesterday. Williams’ spokesman, Cameron Kline, said Fina is not “taking any questions from the media.”

Yep … they are FINALLY going to have to pay the piper.

If Frank Fina prosecuted a woman for paying her son’s tuition using her State computer, then I hope he goes to jail for 50 years for what he did. These guys think the rules don’t apply to them.

    Shame!!

  7. aaron says:

    Has Eakin resigned yet?

  8. David Diano says:

Seth should fire Fina, then resign himself.

  9. Marie says:

Wow – Frank. AG Kane is smarter than you thought. She just appointed a Special Prosecutor who will have NO CONTACT with her during his probe. They just announced that they will investigate EVERYONE and that they will prosecute ANYONE who broke State laws. The guy is legit. Former AG of Maryland. President of National Attorney Generals. His team includes an e-discovery guru and at least a couple lawyers from Harvard.

  10. HaHaHa says:

And to think this Poll was taken before people got to see the videos Fina allegedly watched at work … videos that include:

    – bestiality

    – graphic violence against women

    – a woman having “sex” with a snake

    – a 100 year-old woman engaged in intercourse

    – a man opening a champagne bottle and shoving it in a woman’s vagina

How “friggin” vile is Frank Fina?
