The results are in, and a majority of our readers say that state House Speaker Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) is to blame for the current budget stalemate.
67% of the 905 responses chose Turzai. 22% picked Governor Tom Wolf, 5% said state Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman (R-Centre), 3% said state Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati (R-Jefferson), 2% said state House Majority Leader Dave Reed (R-Indiana), and 1% picked each state House Minority Leader Frank Dermody (D-Allegheny) and state Senate Minority Leader Jay Costa (D-Allegheny).
The Senate passed a revenue package to balance Pennsylvania’s budget, and it is currently waiting action in the House.

Turdo wants a private licker or no deal.
Costa wants no vgts so all bets are off.
The godfather wants expanded casino gambling in airports, churches and post offices or else.
The Gov wants to tax the gassers or find a better way.
Nobody wants to toll I-80 and make the out of staters pay.
So….let’s just do a bond issue for 2.5 billion and make Uncle Charley happy.
