The midterms may be over but election season never ends.

In fact, in just six months the Democratic primary for Mayor of Philadelphia will be held. Already two separate candidates have jumped into the race with two more scheduled to join this week.

That contest, though, will not be the only major election next year.

Thanks to a spectacle equal parts entertaining and embarrassing, namely the McCaffery-Castille-Eakin episode, three seats on the PA Supreme Court will be up for grabs next year.

Both battles will be intense and garner more than their fair share of attention.
