Reader Poll: Who Will Be the 2016 Democratic Nominee in PA-8?

PA-8Bucks County Democrats are enthusiastic.

After three straight victories, and four out of the last six elections, Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick has pledged to retire.

State Rep. Steve Santarsiero wasted little time, jumping into the race last week.

2014 candidate Shaughnessy Naughton is also well positioned to make another run.

Naughton’s strongest areas last year were along the Delaware River (she made protecting it from fracking a major campaign issue) but that’s also where Santarsiero’s district lies.

Finally, while highly unlikely, another candidate could surprise everyone and throw their hat in the ring.

So, we decided to ask our readers who will win the PA-8 Democratic primary in 2016?

  1. I’d rather see Shaughnessy run with the Democrats other strong woman, Diane Marseglia, for County Commissioner. I heard Diane say she’d like John Galloway to team up with her. I believe we need Johnny in the state postion he already holds!
