Ever since Congressman Chaka Fattah was indicted, there has been speculation that State Rep. Dwight Evans could decide to challenge the incumbent.

Over the last three months, three declared challengers have emerged to take on Fattah but none are as serious as Evans would be.

Then last week, we learned that Fattah had an abysmal fundraising quarter and has just $2,607 cash on hand.

Is it possible that the Congressman’s numerous weaknesses could entice Evans into the race?
