Reader Poll: Wolf Has Best TV Ads

wolf adToday marks four weeks from primary election day.

With all four Democratic candidates and Governor Corbett all now on the air, we decided to ask you the readers which candidate you personally felt has made the best TV ads so far.

Even though there were five options, Democratic front-runner Tom Wolf still won with a majority of votes, totaling 146 in all.

Rob McCord followed behind in second with 43 readers while Governor Corbett took third place with 35 votes.

Allyson Schwartz came in fourth with 30 while Katie McGinty brought up the rear with 25 readers feeling she had the best ads.

The results, though, don’t answer the question of whether this is perception or reality. Do people find Tom Wolf’s ads the best because they elevated him to the top of the polls or did the belief among voters that his ads were the best put him atop those polls? Chicken, egg, etc.

  1. After Corbett and the others running for governor expose the real tom wolf.his numbers will drop fast.if he is the nominee how will he get money, is he gonna borrow another 10 million against his company, because his last report of 600.000 raised is horrible for a front runner,Corbett will crush this guy.

  2. Bitter, bitter, bitter…

Wolf is our nominee! Get over it!

He has the best shot according to all the polls in beating Corbett by the largest margin!

Your opinions are one thing, facts are another.

  3. I tried to vote in this poll 3 or 4 times and it would never take my vote. I am surprised that you even used the results since there was a problem with the poll itself.

  4. Wolf’s ads make him look weak and he had no real plan to fix this state but instead support the teachers who have put us in this position with insane retirements that people don’t realize!
We are in this state because of Rendell, Corbett isn’t a good guy but he’s not why this state is a mess!

  5. JB, your sarcasm is wasted here. We all understand that you are supporting typical politicians who lie and outsource jobs. I may not understand why. But you are. Clearly, you are confused about what makes a winning campaigning. Rob McCord is your typical politician. He was just elected again in 2012 to oversee the state Treasury. Instead he has spent 2013 and 2014 running for a promotion, instead of serving the taxpayers in the job they elected him to do. He’s lied about his past and being raised by a “single mom.” When he was in the private sector he outsourced jobs to India. Above all, he has zero integrity and lacks the character needed to move Pennsylvania forward. McCord will say and do anything to get a vote. He is arrogant, cocky and lacks the leadership PA is in desperate need of.

Don’t fall in the trap. Rob McCord is full of crap!

  6. What happens if he is the nominee? Everyone rallies around him and cuts checks to the rich successful business man that can’t actually self fund?

    Great strategy democrats.

  7. Attention Bitter, Party Establishment McCord, Schwartz and McGinty supporters:
Wolf is the nominee! Get over it! Polls show we have the best chance to beat Corbett with Wolf anyway. This should make you happy.

  8. Who Cares. I don’t know what it is; I can’t put my finger on it. Tom Wolf scares me I smell a rat , a phoney. I really wish Katie “RENDELL” McGinty would drop out for all our sakes and let this race be between Schwartz and McCord
