Congressman Conor Lamb won the PoliticsPA readers poll for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate. He received 47 percent of the 569 votes cast.

Conor Lamb: 265 (47 percent)
John Fetterman: 188 (33 percent)
Malcolm Kenyatta: 66 (12 percent)
Undecided or Not Sure: 22 (4 percent)
Alexandra Khalil: 21 (4 percent)
Kevin Baumlin: 7 (1 percent)
There were a total of 569 recorded votes for the poll.

Fetterman cannot win a statewide general election. Period. He’s a terrible candidate for many reasons. He can’t debate that’s a fact. If he thinks that his appearance is his moniker, he’s sadly mistaken.
Even Lamb’s own internal polls show that Fetterman is a better candidate against Oz and McCormick.
Fetterman is a great guy, but Lamb had a better path to win in November regardless of who the Republican candidate is. Biden and the economy/ gas prices will weigh down the Democratic candidate a bit, but ultimately I believe common sense voters want to leave Trumpism behind. Lamb will capture more Republican votes than Fetterman would and I also believe some Democrats would vote Republican rather than Fetterman.
Of COURSE these readers picked Little Lamb – they are mostly Republicans, and Repubes are terrified of Fetterman.
That’s hilarious.. dems are desperate to ditch Igor and replace him with the more palatable plain white toast that is Connor Lamb.

Polls are not civil
The fact that Lamb won the PoliticsPA poll strengthens in my mind that Fetterman is going to win.
It IS a bellweather.
Conor Lamb is unbeatable in the fall. Lt Gov Fetterman struggled debating Bartos after a cakewalk primary with the unpopular Lt Gov Mike Stack. Trouble is Dr Oz and the hedge fund candidate are not Mike Stack. Bottom line is Fetterman will flounder against Dr Oz or the hedge fund guy but has a much better chance of beating the hedge fund guy. Dr Oz gets nominated. Fetterman is back in Braddock.
