Hillary Clinton is set to visit the city of brotherly love on Tuesday and a group of supporters intends that to show how much they love her. Members of the group “Ready for Hillary” will be heading to Philadelphia tomorrow where the former Secretary of State will be accepting the Liberty Medal at an event at the National Constitution Center.

The gathering will take place at Finnegan’s Wake at 6:30 pm, about a half hour before Clinton is expected to speak.

“Ready for Hillary is the nation’s premier independent group urging former Secretary of State Clinton to run for president in 2016.,” according to a press release from the group. “RFH is assembling an army of grassroots Hillary supporters who are sending a message that if she is ready to run for President, they are ready to support her. We believe that Hillary Clinton is the best qualified person to be President in 2016 and her historic election would build upon the progress of President Obama and continue to lead this country into the future.”

“Ready for Hillary” is an independent SuperPAC that is urging the former Senator and Secretary of State to run for President in the next election. While the organization is not officially affiliated with Clinton, Harold Ickes, one of her long-time supporters is assisting the organization. The support of such Clinton loyalists has led to speculation that the SuperPAC is an effort by Clinton to plant the seeds of another presidential campaign.

Secretary Clinton will accept the 25th annual Liberty Medal on Independence Mall tomorrow at 7 pm at the National Constitution Center.

  1. I wonder if the Black Panthers in Philadelphia will come out to intimidate people into voting for her the way they did for Obama?
