Rep. Critz Raises $300K in 3rd Quarter, Has $422K Cash On Hand

Insiders say redistricting is going to force Rep. Altmire to face Rep. Critz in the Democratic primary this spring. In preparation for the primary both are raising as much money as they can. Rep. Altmire came out first, announcing he had raised $375K this past quarter. Now, Rep. Critz says he raised $303,000 this quarter.

From Rep. Critz’s Office:

Congressman Mark Critz today announced that his campaign posted a strong fundraising quarter and raised approximately $303,000 since July 1 and has $422,000 in the bank.  Critz said that his fundraising totals place him in a strong position for re-election heading into the final quarter of the year.

“I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support I am receiving throughout Western Pennsylvania for my work to create jobs our region,” Critz said.  “As we head into the final quarter of the year, we are in a strong financial position for re-election and I am confident we will continue to reach our fundraising goals.”
