Revenue Secretary Eileen McNulty announced today that she will retire effective April 21st. She has served as Revenue Secretary under Governor Tom Wolf since she was confirmed in June 2015.
“Serving in the Wolf administration and working for the people of Pennsylvania is an honor,” McNulty said in the release.
“Eileen has handled her job with distinction and took a tremendous amount of pride in the work. She will be missed, but I have great confidence in Dan’s ability to lead this important department,” Wolf said.
McNulty was Revenue Secretary under Governor Bob Casey Sr. from 1991-1995.
Governor Wolf announced that Dan Hassell as acting Revenue Secretary starting on April 21st.
“I have tremendous respect for Dan and full confidence in his ability to lead the department forward,” McNulty said.
“We will miss her unwavering commitment to excellence and the fair and equitable collection of taxes that fund the services Pennsylvanians need, but we wish her well as she begins an exciting new chapter in life,” Hassell said.

I want to say good luck on your retirement and I think for governor tom wolf will pick a great successor is to you when you retire next month and i’m hoping for his choice should be a great one though.
