Pennsylvania is about to “feel the Bern”.
Vermont Senator and Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is coming to Pittsburgh on Thursday.
Sanders will hold a rally at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center at 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
The Sanders campaign has already set up campaign offices in Pittsburgh and Scranton and recruited their Michigan Director to move on to the Keystone State.
Pennsylvania has 210 delegates, the third-largest prize remaining in the Democratic contest. PA’s primary is scheduled for April 26th.

There’s plenty of work to do that early. Lit drops. Talking to voters at train/subway stations. Preparing call lists and contacts for the day. Getting donuts for the office. 🙂

Bernie is a rarity in politics. You can trust him. I trust Bernie and like his honesty.
All of Bernie’s proposals for free public college tuition, single payer universal health care, etc. depend on getting all of his tax plan enacted. That plan could never be passed and includes some very bad math, which legions of credible, non-partisan examinations have shown. Few Democrats, including Hillary dispute the values of Sanders but he rarely says anything but exhortations with little detail. He has acknowledge, in little noted interviews, that every policy proposals depends on his tax plan so read the tax plan.

Been on plenty of winning a campaigns. But, you know what wins in the end? Math.
Hillary is over 20 points ahead in PA and NYC. Bernie simply can’t make up the deficit in pledged delegates. He does great in caucuses. His voters have time/energy to kill an entire evening, but Hillary does better in regular primaries where every voter needs the same amount of energy to vote.

BErnie Sanders represents a state where agriculture and tourism are important economic sectors of his state’s economy.Dairy farming,winter sports and sightseeing are especially important in Vermont. Agriculture and tourism are Pa’s two most important economic sectors. Hopefully Senator Sanders will make his thoughts known regarding family farming and tourism. He certainly knows how to “talk the talk” of rural values. Otherwise he could not get elected and be so popular at home. They are especially important in the Pennsylvania “T”. Hopefully the Sanders Campaign will take note.
Doors open at 7:30am ? Who gets up that early that doesn’t have a job (besides old people, who are supporting Hillary).
3 hour wait? Well, standing in line with other supporters is so much more effective than knocking on doors or making phone calls. Not!
Plan to do everything in my power to be there to support Bernie.
