SD-36: Aument Endorses Rubio for President

ryan-aumentYesterday, Pennsylvania State Senator Ryan Aument announced his endorsement of presidential candidate Marco Rubio.

Aument believes the Senator from Florida will build a better future for America as president.

“Our country faces numerous challenges that will require the attention of our next president,” said Sen. Aument. “We are in the midst of a sluggish economic recovery. The percentage of our fellow citizens participating in the labor force is the lowest it has been in decades. Upward economic mobility is on the decline and millions of Americans are entrapped in poverty. This runs directly counter to the American Dream.”

“Marco understands that this new century has brought about significant opportunities as well as challenges, and he understands what it will require to make America the best place in the world to own and operate a business,” Sen. Aument continued. “I am impressed with Marco’s detailed and substantive tax reform policy proposals. His tax proposals are pro-growth and empower job creators by allowing employers to immediately deduct 100 percent of the money they invest in their businesses.”

State Sen. Aument is joining Rubio’s Pennsylvania team, which is led by Chris Bravacos (Chairman) and Bob Asher (Finance Chair).

The 36th district represents areas of Lancaster County.

  1. Scranton, excellent point, as we say sometimes in Barricks Caunty, Gott verdammt Sei!

  2. Barricks, upward mobility is alive and well. Aument was a lowly state rep not long ago, and now he’s a senator.

  3. I would like to hear the State senator explain why upward mobility is on the decline and millions are trapped in poverty.

  4. This is funny. He talks about how many people are in poverty and can’t pay their bills. Rubio makes millions and can’t even balance a checkbook! Plus he filed bankruptcy and he foreclosed on his mortgage. Yeah, this is the guy I trust to get the economy going!!
