SD-5: Too Close To Call

democratic-donkeyThe State Senate race between incumbent John Sabatina and State Rep. Kevin Boyle is too close to call with Sabatina in the lead with just 672 votes over Boyle (17,009 to 16,337).

Sabatina won the seat in a special election last year to fill former Lt. Gov. Mike Stack’s seats.

The winner will go on to win in the general election in a mostly Democratic district.

The 5th Senatorial District includes parts of Philadelphia County.

  1. Received an email with this Link stating that someone was posting under an alias similar to my name. The PA Fifth (5th) Senate race still hasn’t been certified, they are in the process of/are completing the count of Absentee/Alternative Ballots. They will then proceed to Military Ballots and Provisionals. If any party is aggrieved by activities at the polls, take the necessary steps to seek justice.

By the looks of the count, Congratulations on your Primary Win, Senator John Sabatina.

  2. I would not count out the Republican candidate Ross Feinberg this early. US Navy Veteran is a real fighter who will vigorously contest the November election for this seat.
