Shapiro Closes By Emphasizing Future in New TV Ad (VIDEO)

Shapiro is closing with a positive, forward-looking message with his final TV ad.

While the thirty-second spot throws a lot at the remaining undecided voters (several of his endorsements are mentioned), the central theme is the future.

The commercial, titled “New Generation”, begins and ends with praise of the candidate as a new leader.

“Across Pennsylvania he’s praised as a progressive champion, with a record of reform,” the narrator states. “And he’s endorsed who says Shapiro ‘represents the next generation of progressive leadership’”.

The Montgomery County Commissioner is running against Allegheny County DA Stephen Zappala and Northampton County DA John Morganelli in the April 26th Democratic primary.

  1. The O does know the way.

Shapiro will be elected because he is smarter and a better leader. He has, not surprisingly, worked harder and done more on the campaign trail.

Little Stevie is the lightweight. He’s a Justice’s son … and a Legislator’s grandson … and Johnny Doc’s guy too. He’s counting on stupid people electing him. And then he takes the Silver Spoon out of his mouth and tries to form a sentence. It is not easy for Little Stevie.

  2. Good positive ad Josh Shapiro and I think is you will win the primary next week.

  3. Smart to stay close out with positive message.

Shapiro is gonna crush Zappala (and his hatchet-man Morganelli). Zappala is talking about “experience.” When he has NEVER TRIED A CASE in all his years in Allegheny County Government.

Zappala also testified as an expert for the Special Prosecutor in their “leak” case against fellow Democrat Kane. Wonder why that hasn’t come out before today.

There are also whispers of a connection between Zappala’s family and the “Kids for Cash” scandal. Is Greg Zappala Stephen’s brother? Does Stephen send kids up to Greg so Greg can lock them up and make money??
