Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter, who switched to the Democratic Party last year, is writing a book about his experiences. Specter, who wrote about his battle with Hodgkin’s disease in 2008, was asked by reporters Monday whether he was thinking of writing another book.
“Well, as a matter of fact, I am,” the senator replied, according to a pool report from Politico’s Carol Lee.
“I do have some special insights, having been inside both caucuses,” Specter said, referring to his time with both political parties.
