Stack Launches Re-Election Bid

Lieutenant Governor Mike Stack officially kicked off his re-election campaign at Philadelphia City Hall on Tuesday.

Stack’s term in office, especially in the last year, has been marked by controversies and a public split with Governor Tom Wolf.

“It’s not a secret this year has been difficult for my family and me, but we’re emerging stronger and healthier,” Stack said during his announcement, according to the Inquirer.

Earlier this year, Wolf ordered the Inspector General to investigate complaints about verbal abuse by Stack and his wife against staff in the Lieutenant Governor’s mansion and State Police officers who were part of his protective detail.

Stack has publicly apologized for his and his wife’s actions against staff in an awkward press conference, and issued a statement after pressure from the press saying his wife entered a treatment facility for help coping with a mental health problem.

Wolf has not announced if he will release the report from the Inspector General, and has refused to comment directly on who he would want to win the Lieutenant Governor’s primary next year.

Congressman Bob Brady (D-Philadelphia), labor leaders, and community leaders attended the announcement.

Aryanna Berringer, and Chester County Commissioner Kathi Cozzone, and Braddock Mayor John Fetterman have all entered the race to challenge Stack.  State Representative Madeleine Dean (D-Montgomery) is also considering a run.

  1. Hey Wolf where is your big bad report at on Stack?? Or just another Wolfpack lie??? Lets see the report on you… Talk about calling the kettle black. Wolf treats everyone like shit.

  2. this guy and his wife appear to be rude buffoons who turned into megalomaniacs after he was elected. now he apologizes and that is supposed to bring us around ? how about electing someone who is not clueless about how offensive it is to engage in repeated abusive treatment of one’s subordinates.. ( While trying to get the right to drive 120 mph with flashing police lights to various engagements. )

if i wanted megalomaniacs in office i would have voted for trump. count me in 100 % Fetterman Land…

If you dig a little, you may find that Wolf’s complaints about Stack are the pot-calling-the-kettle-black. Also, Wolf knew about the private medical issues facing Stack’s wife and was a total d*ck in exploiting them to make Stack look bad.

  3. This dude looks like a bad cartoon. You know he is bat shit crazy, because he actually thinks that after all the shit he has done, he stands a chance. Wolf has a 55/45 chance (in favor of staying in office), but this dude’s got nothing.

  4. Got to love the description of his supporters as “labor leaders” and “community leaders,” language I am assuming is straight off Stack’s press release. That means no actual people want their name’s attached to this toxic candidate and campaign.

  5. You all know what David is doing while reading this article. Someone pleaseeee come save meeeee!!!!!!
