Stack to Hold Reception for Donohue at Dem Winter Meeting

christine-donahuePA Supreme Court hopeful Christine Donohue will have a reception thrown for her by Pennsylvania’s Lt. Gov. Mike Stack just hours before the state Democratic Party decides which candidates to formally endorse.

The reception will be held the night of Feb. 20, the first night of the Democratic Winter State Committee Meeting.

The event, which will be “Mardi Gras” themed, is also taking place in the Hershey Hotel.

Back in December, PoliticsPA published Donohue’s initial comments about her desire to be endorsed by the state Democratic Party, citing her 27 years worth of legal practice and time spent on Pennsylvania’s Superior Court since 2008 as reasons why she should get the endorsement.

In addition, she has already secured a “highly recommended” endorsement from the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

  1. Stack does not really know who the real Christine Donahue is or he would not publicly support her. Vote no for Christine Donahue. A very dishonest and clueless jurist.

  2. Sounds like an interesting story in the SE. Like to hear more. If not here, then at event on Friday.

  3. Its funny Stack has the resources to organize anything after his first few weeks of fighting with Wolf’s people in the SE office.

  4. Well, Stack has been smart in not snubbing the state committee the way Wolf has. So, he and a candidate he supports should get a warm welcome.
