The Full 2012 PA Society List of Events

The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, NYC

It’s that time of year, politicos: Pennsylvania Society! Here’s a rundown of the events at the weekend-long marathon of dinners and cocktails.

The big story to watch is Pa.’s 2014 Gov race. At least two potential Democratic candidates are hosting events in NYC, and Gov. Tom Corbett will be at many of them.

To the uninitiated, the weekend is a non-stop marathon of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails with everybody who’s anybody in Pa. politics.

Why’s it held in New York instead of Pa., you ask? Tradition, mainly.

To the critics of the world, take heart. It’s opportunity for those on both sides of the aisle to let their guard down and socialize. Those who lament the decline in bipartisan cordiality would be heartened by the scene.

Without further ado, here are the events of the weekend. PoliticsPA will update the list as we learn of additional events.

  1. Whyy not host those special in The commonwealth of pennsylvania so they in touch with our people instead of new york

  2. Does Rich Fitzgerald drag Wall Street WilliePeduto around by his collar. The last time the two were together in NYCity,Fitz was ringing the closing bell at NASDAQ with Willie P in tow.

  3. an interesting annual event and amount of $$ thrown at this annual junket of panache and hobnobbery. Just keep in mind that the Republicans aren’t running this country or state, the Democratics aren’t running this country or state, it’s the insurance companies and pharmaceutical firms who are.
