THE JOE PITTS BAD VOTE COUNTDOWN: IN THE DARK
In culling Congressman Joe Pitts’ really bad votes from those which are just predictably ill-advised, the Herr 2010 campaign needed a lantern to illuminate our next selection:
VOTE #35: H.R. 3585, the Solar Technology Roadmap Act
Looking toward America’s energy future, the House took up a comprehensive approach to photovoltaic, boiling liquid and other technolgies, along with ways to store energy from the sun during hours of darkness. This bill provided for research, development and demonstration of solar energy technologies. On October 22, 2009, the House passed the bill, 310-106. And how did Rep. Pitts greet the dawn of our energy future?
Pitts votes NO.
We don’t know what went through Congressman Pitts’ head as this vote was being taken. Perhaps he just had it tucked away where the sun doesn’t shine.
We’re starting to feel like Casey Kasem by now. There are 34 more Bad Joe Pitts votes ahear, one a day.
