Toomey to Stay Neutral in Murphy-Feinberg Primary

By Keegan Gibson, Managing Editor

Sen. Pat Toomey is staying out of the intra-party struggle brewing in western Pennsylvania.  The Senator’s office said that although he attended a fundraiser for Rep. Tim Murphy Thursday morning, he would not take sides in his upcoming primary.

“Sen. Toomey attended Congressman Murphy’s fundraising event as he has attended fundraising events in the past for Republican members of the Pennsylvania congressional delegation,” said Toomey Communications Director Nachama Soloveichik. “His attendance at the event, however, is not tantamount to a campaign endorsement.  Sen. Toomey intends to remain neutral in this primary.”

Murphy is being challenged by Evan Feinberg, a former staffer to Sens. Tom Coburn and Rand Paul, as well as the Heritage Foundation.

Toomey is the patron saint of viable primary challengers in Pa. Most of the activists who now consider themselves part of the mainstream conservative movement in Pa. got their start supporting his 2004 bid against then-Republican Sen. Arlen Specter.

That’s partly why his participation in the Murphy fundraiser, first reported by PoliticsPA, drew him a rebuke from Colin McNickle of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s editorial staff.

Murphy’s campaign responded by emphasizing the Congressman’s close working relationship with Toomey.

“Rep. Murphy is focused on fighting President Obama’s runaway spending policies in Washington. He’s been proud to support and work with Senator Toomey and looks forward to continuing to do so in the future,” said Mike DeVanney, Murphy’s general consultant.

  1. Both Pat Toomey and Tim Murphy are Monarchist conservatives who worship wealth and believe that America should be converted into a Kingdom Ruled Over by Wall Street CEO’s. King George III is smiling up at them from the grave.

Tim Murphy and Pat Toomey Act on their conservative-elitist agenda every day:
They Feed Wall Street with taxpayer-provided Welfare; they Stand Behind the Oil Industry’s Extortion Tactics — “Take Away Our Govt. Welfare and We’ll Take Away Your Jobs and Raise Your Prices,” the oil lobby’s TV commercials say; they wage Class Warfare on the average American family and keep moving the U.S. ever closer to the policies of a Hundred Years Ago — a time when we were a 2nd-rate country and 2nd-class economy, where American parents that were financially able would send their children to Europe for education and economic opportunity.

Heritage Foundation staffer Feinberg appears to be an especially young conservative soldier enlisted by the Kings of Wall Street to accomplish the same mission as Pat Toomey and Tim Murphy: make sure Barack Obama continues to try and be president just as he has from the beginning — with Both Hands Tied Behind His Back.

The people of Tim Murphy’s congressional district (right next door to me) have one year left to Wake Up. Like all modern congressional conservatives, Tim Murphy is a Wall Street Lobbyist posing as a U.S. congressman.
Among many other assaults, Murphy voted against Wall Street Reform and has already voted 3 times to eliminate Medicare — while business-obedient local media stay silent about it.

If western Pennsylvanians and the rest of the country continue to fail to see through the conservatives’ phony Christian poses and recognize the Class War that these Monarchists have been Waging Against them for 15 years — our Democratic Republic will breath its last and we will be on the fast track to becoming a Wall Street Monarchy, speeding towards a future of many decades of economic hopelessness and despair for our children and grandchildren. 2. Tim Murphy’s a good and honorable man whose served his community and his country. Evan could learn a few things about public service him.
