HARRISBURG — Ex-House Speaker John Perzel’s chief of staff entered guilty pleas Friday to two felonies in exchange for testimony against Republican co-defendants, possibly including Perzel.

Paul Towhey,  40, of Montgomery County, pleaded guilty to conflict of interest and conspiracy. They were two of the 28 charges Towhey faced. The remainder of the charges will be dismissed.
