Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has hired two political operatives to head their effort in Pennsylvania.
According to Thomas Fitzgerald of the Inquirer, David Urban will serve as senior adviser while Ted Christian will be the state director.
Urban was Chief of Staff to Senator Arlen Specter and works for the American Continental Group. He is also serving as the campaign’s Deputy Director of Caucus Operations for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Christian, a Bucks native, is coming from Duane Morris Government Strategies. He also served as state director for the McCain-Palin ticket in 2008. Additionally, Christian was the Executive Director of the New Jersey Republican Party in the late 1990’s.
Trump has made Pennsylvania one of his main targets for the November 8th general election.

This is indicative of how poorly managed Trump’s whole campaign is, and will be, until Election Day. Two people can’t organize with all of the various groups and party committees the kind of ground game they’ll need to turn out the vote to win in Pennsylvania. This is a nationwide problem for Republicans. He’s not raising money from the big donors (and not making the connections with the people who are the movers and shakers for his party at election time), and that means they aren’t going to drop money on the RNC to give to Trump’s campaign. This is going to drag down turnout for Toomey statewide, and Brian Fitzpatrick in Bucks County for the GOP.
Diano is right. Republicans have out-crazied themselves to the point of ridiculous.
James Wilson — I don’t think most people realize that the part about David Diano living in his parents basement is actually true. How sad that a 50+ year old guy is still living with his 70+ year old parents. Seeing as how he spend most of his day trolling on the Internet, I guess it makes sense. But still sad. David, please, expand your horizons, pick up new hobbies. Maybe try to talking to a female in person.

David Diano…. Common Advocate said it all. No one cares about ill and often false statements you make on here. Trump never said he wanted to make war crimes legal. The military leaders have not stated that Trump is unfit to command. Go back to your stupid lists that no one cares about and continuing to live your pathetic life in mommy’s basement.
More bad news for McGinty as Pa comes into play in the Presidential race with tons of media buys clogging the airwaves into the summer and fall making it all the harder to get her message out. Toomey is playing this masterfully running a sharp campaign while having the resources to battle McGinty with media buys during these critical times. All in all this seems to spell a rough road ahead for McGinty in the US Senate Race.

Diano – one of the faults of the internet is it gives a voice to those who don’t deserve one. After quietly watching your ignorant, argumentative comments for some time, I feel a strong need to ask you to cease commenting. You sir are one of those people who believes people actually care what they comment — they, in fact, do not care my friend. Current and former military leaders and advisors have condemned Trump’s statements/plans to torture suspected terrorists and kill their family members (women and children) as a war crime and that soldiers would/should refuse such illegal orders.
Trump doubled down saying that he’d be Commander in Chief and that they’d have to follow his orders.
The military leaders responded “NO”.
Trump then said he’d change the laws to make those illegal war crimes “legal”.
The military leaders have made it clear that Trump is unfit for office and commanding the troops.

We win with small ball. We do not win by posting and agreeing with ourselves about our candidate. Everyone reading this probably knows 10 people in family or circle of friends not registered to vote.
Identify and target 10 of them.
Get voter registration forms from your county voter services office.
Take them to your 10 targets and fill them out with them. Do NOT just hand them to them. Fill them out with them.
MAKE COPIES.
Stamp them and mail them yourself or hand deliver back to the voter services office. Do NOT count on your newly registered voter to mail them back themselves. It will not happen.
Using your copies have voter services office tell you where each of your 10 targets votes. Do this as soon as you can and write the info on your copies.
A week before the election personally contact each of your ten voters. Arrange to take them to the polls. Do NOT count on them doing it themselves. They wont.
That’s “small ball”. If you can’t do 10 then do 5.
I have been doing this for 40 years and I have been on the ballot 15 times and won 14 times.

He doesn’t have a golf course here to tout, so I doubt he’ll be here that much. He thinks he can be competitive in New York state, too.
Trump is trailing nationally, and more critically: in nearly all the swing states. Hillary only needs 2 or 3 of the key swing states and Trump needs to sweep them.
This is why Nate Silver put the race at 80% chance for Hillary.
