Trump Coming to Harrisburg

Donald-TrumpPresident Donald Trump will be spending part of his 100th day in office in Harrisburg.

Over the weekend, Trump tweeted out that he will be holding a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The rally will be Trump’s second in Pennsylvania since he won Pennsylvania in the election, and his first since taking office.

Trump will be holding the rally instead of attending the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner being held in Washington.  Trump’s absence is said to be a protest of what he says is unfair coverage he has received from the media during his Presidency so far.

It has not been released what Trump will talk about in his speech, but the timing would suggest he will address where his agenda stands after his first 100 days in office and tout accomplishments he has made during that time.

The doors are scheduled to open at 4:30 p.m. and the event at 7:30 p.m.  You can register for up to two tickets here.

  1. I think people are unhappy with the way the trump organization is making use of the White House to further their business interests. There will be others down the road who will run for president and follow this example of self promotion.

  2. @David Diano. There is nothing Trump could say or do to please the Ex-Mainstream Media that continues its belittlement and character assassination toward him, his family, and his associates. They remain bitter, if not in denial, about last year’s election. One of his spokesmen (Sanders) said it best: “If a Girl Scout egged your house, would you buy cookies from her?”

If Trump wanted to cater to the press, he would have planned to stay in DC for next week’s presstitute event, the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. But he chose instead to come and talk to people who voted for him.

And anything Trump does in Pennsylvania is likely to help Scott Wagner in his effort to defeat Tom Wolf, a Democrat, in next year’s gubernatorial contest.

  3. Thanks for the warning. Wives and daughters will be kept at home to prevent p-ssy grabbing.

  4. The journalists will be at the correspondent’s dinner. Will Trump complain that he didn’t get enough coverage of his rally, and that the reporters ditched his event?
