Expect to see more of Donald Trump in Pennsylvania.
According to an article by Beth Reinhard of the Wall Street Journal, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee has created a list of 17 states that he will target in the general election, and Pennsylvania is on the list.
Pennsylvania has not backed a Republican presidential nominee since 1988, however Rep. Lou Barletta, an early supporter of Trump’s, states: “It’s very difficult for a Republican to win but I believe Mr. Trump will because you have a lot of blue-collar workers [in Pennsylvania] and his economic message really resonates.”
The sixteen other states include: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
President Obama won Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin in 2012.
He also took Indiana and North Carolina in 2008. Arizona and Missouri last went Democratic during President Bill Clinton’s re-election effort in 1996. Georgia hasn’t gone blue since Clinton won it in 1992.
His decision to focus on swing states and Republican-leaning states contradicts the statement he made last month claiming that he plans to compete in Democratic powerhouses, such as California and New York. Trump’s political director, Jim Murphy, said that the campaign was not ruling such states out, but that they will not be targets of the campaign.
Compared to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Trump is falling behind in fundraising, which might suggest that he cannot afford to campaign heavily in such a large amount of states. Karen Giorno, a Trump senior adviser Karen Giorno, however, says that Trump can afford to campaign as such because he is running a “leaner” and “more dynamic” campaign. “We have a movement,” she asserts.

Hey Mike – are you a RETARD too? How bout your kid?
The Trump/Clinton battle for Pennsylvania will be nasty and expensive. The real issue for Republicans is to return Pat Toomey to the Senate and keep our GOP majority in the House.

Hopefully, voters will be serious and thoughtful in their voting. Trump will lose big.
Trump will win PA! Trump 2016!
Nate Silver gives Trump a 22 % chance of emerging victorious in Pa. Not very good odds, Donald. Not sure you learned much about odds in your multiple casino bankruptcies.
Yes, Trump has a movement – a bowel movement!
