Former Donald Trump State Director Ted Christian is joining the Jeff Bartos campaign for U.S. Senate as a Senior Advisor.
“Working with Jeff is something that I feel very passionate about, given his strong conservative roots and determination to bring change to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” Christian said in a release announcing the hire.
“Ted has a long history of outstanding work for conservative movements, and has made waves in the political realm with his determined efforts. I am looking forward to working with Ted to continue building our grassroots movement,” Bartos said in the release.
Christian led the state efforts for the Trump campaign that ended with Pennsylvania going for a Republican Presidential candidate for the first time since 1988. Christian has also worked as Pennsylvania State Director for McCain-Palin 2008 and Executive Director of the New Jersey Republican State Committee.
Bartos is running against State Representatives Rick Saccone (R-Allegheny) and Jim Christiana (R-Beaver), and RNC Delegate Andrew Schektor to challenge Senator Bob Casey next year. Congressmen Lou Barletta (R-Luzerne) and Mike Kelly (R-Butler), and Southeast businessman Paul Addis are considering runs as well.

Ted Christian, the guy who couldn’t get his wife elected Bucks County Prothonotary in an off year election when she was endorsed by the local county party. Great Choice.
Michelle was outspent 4:1 in the race because Sen. Chucky got his liquor boy buddy Pat Deon to raise a ton of money. President Pro Temp Joe Scarnati even contributed $50,000 against Ted’s wife. It was all part of a Bucks County power-play to try to redeem Chucky’s mom, who was bounced out in an election for chairman of the party. If it wasn’t for the overwhelming out of county money, Ted’s wife would’ve won. She only lost by 49% to 51%.
